The material and heat treatment of each blade must be done properly. Most rotary tiller blades on the market today use low quality materials and are incorrectly heat treated. The result is a very short life span and easily broken blades.

Werkman Rotary Tiller Blades are produced using high grade material from Italy and heat treated to have uniform and balanced hardness throughout the tine. The blades reach a very high hardness, so a special hardening technique is required to prevent the blade from breaking easily.
